What We Are Waiting For As Of 9/29/10

Not in any order:

1) Blio Reader (supposed to be arriving 9/28)
2) Google Editions
3) Barnes & Noble PubIt [revised a 2nd time here; NOT live yet]
4) Kobo Reader WiFi
5) Something else I am NDAed about

Possible Myths:

1) Nook II
2) 7″ iPad
3) Palm Pre II
4) KindlePad

It needed updating in less than 24 hours. (And he needed another laugh.)

I Am In Mourning For Kobo

Today Kobo announced what we’ve been waiting for: the new WiFi-enabled Kobo. (Kobo, Borders)

But what a price to have to pay for it!

Kobo has given up what I considered to be its trademark: the pretty blue button!

They’ve gone from this:

Soooo pretty!

To this:

Bleh! How Corporate!

Maybe it will look better in person. Grumble, grumble.
