Writer Ken Bruen: Get His eBooks

One summer, I read all of the Sherlock Holmes stories. That was my introduction to Mysteries.

Having loved those, I dipped into the Mystery category at the New York Public Library — a section I usually avoided.

My introduction to crime fiction was Ken Bruen’s The Hackman Blues.

Holy shit. Entirely due to the distinctive blue cover of The Do Not Press (now, alas, just about defunct), I wound up starting at the pinnacle of crime fiction! Bruen opened my eyes to an entire new genre.

You lot out there will be getting eBook devices as presents.

Treat them right by filling them up with Ken Bruen!

Single novels:
Rilke on Black [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
Her Last Call to Louis MacNeice [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
London Boulevard [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
Once Were Cops [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]

Jack Taylor series:
The Guards [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
The Killing of the Tinkers [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
The Magdalen Martyrs [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
The Dramatist [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
Priest [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
Cross [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
Sanctuary [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
The Devil [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]
Headstone [Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony, Apple]

There’s also a series with Inspector Brant, but those aren’t all available in e, so I refuse to link to the few that are because they will destroy the overall series continuity. There are also novels in collaboration with other writers, but I tend to stay with pure Bruen for recommendations.
