Looks like a little profit taking going on here. I got gas this past week for $3.49. But then again I don’t live in NYC. The differential just doesn’t seem kosher to me. I noticed that the daily increases and decreases lately are in the nickel to dime range instead of the cent or couple cents I was used to some months ago. I read that the falling prices are based on the speculation that opec was splashing a little more gas on the market. Can’t verify that theory, though.
