I’m not quite sure what’s going on here…
People sleeping a block or so away from Trinity Whore Church, near Citibank. I don’t know if they’re homeless or part of Occupy. There were no protest placards.
Meanwhile, the sleep protest continues at Trinity Whore Church itself:
There were Occupy protest placards but I didn’t photograph them.
It’s a mixed collection of people. Some are Occupy and some are obviously homeless people. I saw at least one transgendered person (there might have been two). And one person was shirtless, filthy, and looked like he had sores on his lower back.
I overheard one of the free newspaper vendors telling someone that NYPD had come over recently and confiscated all of the Occupy placards and cardboard. I don’t know when that happened. Cardboard and placards were there this morning.

Wow. I had no idea how big the Trinity protest is. I thought it was a small handful of folks. That’s awesome.
