A reader informed me via email that DR relented and opened the Forbrydelsen III stream to everyone after being bombarded with complaints from Danes who are living abroad and want to see it.
Shortly after it aired in Denmark, I was able to watch it online.

There’s a common denominator between this and the last episode. But saying anything more would be a spoiler.
I’m still hooked and will watch it again when/if the fansub version is released.
