It has been downgraded from junk status to outright garbage.
Just look at the two videos after the break to see the truth for yourself.
Just look at that! How can Archos sell that to people without feeling like a pack of crooks?
And that framerate performance is pathetic. On the other hand, it seems to have a better screen, with deeper blacks and better contrast — although that could be a trick of the light.
The verdict is clear: Avoid this tablet.
Let’s hope the more powerful Archos 97 Platinum is better. But I wouldn’t bet any money on it now.
