Doctor Who: Day Of The Moon

River: Apollo Eleven’s your secret weapon?

The Doctor: No. No. It’s not Apollo Eleven. That would be silly. It’s Neil Armstrong’s foot.

This episode must have sent scores of wee British children running for under the bed. I nearly joined them!

Not since 1960s British TV here in America — The Avengers, Department S, The Champions, The Saint, Secret Agent, et al — have I been so in awe of the writing.

Moffat, how do you do this?
