Was there a frikkin story here? If there was, I didn’t see it.
Forty-five minutes that felt like four and a half hours.
That’s time travel in the worst way.
I still don’t see why this warranted two parts. The entire idea could have been rendered in one hour with just two guest stars (one, if you really wanted to do some work). It would have been tighter, better, and made a point.
And next week, Rosemary’s Baby?

But yeah, I think they could have done this in a single episode.
Yeah, I know what you mean. We saw him melted — but that means nothing, of course.
Yeah, bit of a burn out. I guess the pregnancy taster is the big tease to keep us on board…
…But as I say, Chris Eccleston was the best doctor, best scripts too. Nothing beat that big comeback.
Eccleston was a very masculine Doctor. Tennant made him softer. Smith is a cross between the two (remember how he faced down the army of aliens on that rooftop?).
I hadn’t thought of the doctors like that – Eccleston being very masculine. Good point. I really liked the raw aggression of Eccleston.
