Asshat Quote Of The Day Explains Why Google+ Sucks

Why yo momma won’t use Google+ (and why that thrills me to no end)

So, what is Google+ for then?

It’s for us!

Come on now, we geeks and early adopters and social media gurus need a place to talk free of folks who think Justin Bieber is the second coming of Christ. That’s what we have in Google+ right now. Do we really want to mess that up?

Boldfaced emphasis added by me.

No wonder Google+ has a shit UI and is empty of real people.

Google populated it with the Circle Jerk of techies first.

I have nothing in common with those eejits. I never Followed them on Twitter and I try not to read them on the Net itself.

They’re clueless self-absorbed wankers.

And that quote again proves it.

Mike, please don’t define everyone on Google + by Scoble.

Exactly!! When you hear those “early adopters” self-insinuate themselves as social media gurus.

Actually, my mom, sister, dad, and two family friends who’ve never used Facebook before are all on G+, and we’ve having a good time sharing family photos and such. The thing is: we’re sharing them privately, so it appears as if we’re not there :-)

How is it you can get your entire FAMILY on there and G+ won’t let me invite people who I Follow on Twitter?

I have a G+ account now and I fail to see what the hype is all about. It’s not as great as many articles are saying it is.

  5. They deleted my Gmail account that I had for years.. Screw them! google+ that is…
Mark Z is doing it, and has not a thing to worry about everyone leaving facebook to switch over to google+…

Ya gotta care about the little people..

There’s a reason rock stars has money and fame! It’s because of their Fans you MORONS!!!!

They’ve failed for years at social networking, Orkut, Wave, Buzz this that too many to count…

It shall, hopefully, share the same fate as MySpace and will just be a hotspot for emos and anti-social bands.

Google + SUCKS, SUCKS bad. The only “2” things Google are good are search and mail. That’s it. Their “1994” UI SUCKS, it SUCKS bad. I once sat through a lecture by a dorky woman employee of Google spending 40 MINUTES on how “clean” and “unique” the Google UI is. The worse part was she was paid to speak! No the Google UI is raw and undeveloped. It has no imagination. Same with Gmail. That’s why they are re-designing it – to look like the original HOTMAIL circa 1997. And stop taking photos of our neighborhoods, WE the people don’t like it. GOOGLE SUCKS and so does Android = “FAKE” iPhone. Like FAKE VANS shoes. The future of Google is only minus. Google –

I like Google Street View, so I can’t agree on that point. Save your energy for when they announce Google Real Time Spy Satellite.

Just wait until Facebook has an email service and search engine… lol

I left G+ after about 12 hours. Their servers failed when I went to upload a few small images, which worked several hours later. Then all these people started telling me how to do this or that, how to send messages privately, that I don’t have to share every time I upload… I have never been into “cliques” and don’t want to have to deal with a shit user interface and a service that is not intuitive. Hipsters will love it and thrive there. They can have it. Facebook will always beat G+. But for the same reason I left Facebook, I left G+: I have things to do in REAL life.
