Doctor Who: Night Terrors

Allusional spoiler ahead!

Let us return to those lighthearted — and lightheaded — days of 1950s TV, when pulp was pulp and you could sense the reveal from a mile away.

When people make the claim that Doctor Who is a show for children, this episode will be Exhibit A for the prosecution.

And, Rod Serling is not happy, Mark Gatiss.

Nor is Billy Mumy.

Some day, Moffat might get the fine idea to take two light scripts and combine them into one episode that’s so jam-packed people will find it hard to breathe while watching.

But don’t hold your breath for that just yet.
