Per-square foot of object and area, this is the most secure thing in all of New York City:
In the order they were taken, with some minor commentary:
As you’ll see as we continue, I tried to get in closer today.
The media is finally paying attention. Local Time Warner cable-only NY1 News:
Local NBC affiliate WNBC-4:
And here goes the mattress we saw yesterday:
That’s the improper way to dispose of a mattress in NYC. They must be entirely wrapped in plastic. This is due to the bedbug epidemic currently in force.
The protest creates a lot of waste:
Local ABC affiliate WABC-7 is on site now too:
It would please me greatly if some Suits would jump sides and dump a bunch of Sekrit Documents from one of the trading companies at this truck!
Now this is …
… unusual. I have never seen a bed-shelter set up like that ever before. The homeless wouldn’t do that. I’m surprised NYPD allowed it.
As I was about to leave, I noticed:
Local WNBC was setting up to go live:
I didn’t stick around to see what was said.
I don’t know what to make of this:
And this …
… this enrages me. That is not the America I know! When the hell did we become a Police State with fearful steroidal rage monkeys in body armor and military armaments? This is a goddammed disgrace!
They’ll never fucking pay. They’ll move more jobs overseas. Right now they cry like weakling sons of bitches that they need a break to repatriate their own money back to the United States. Who the fuck ever needs a tax break as an incentive to retrieve their own money? This is insanity!
Let me put that in plain language. You’ve dropped five dollars on the ground. Do you need more of an incentive to pick it up? If you were a corporation you’d be bawling for one from the government!
Last night here on Satan Island (Staten Island to everyone else), we had Hell Rain. A deluge so huge that it woke me up. I don’t know if they also got that at Liberty Plaza. At the very least they got the cold. Not a fun night.
