This is our Bill of Rights:
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
And now what’s happening in New York City:
All of you know I’ve come down hard on Occupy Wall Street at times.
But, goddammit, they have the right to assemble!
If they can’t assemble, what about the rest of us?
