Since this morning, local cable-only NY1 News has been saying six to eight inches. Despite everyone else saying ten to eighteen.
Now others are beginning to say six to ten inches.
Right now there are few flakes and about an inch has fallen.
But they say the worst will be between midnight and 3AM.
We’ll see.
Microsoft had to cancel their midnight party for the Surface Pro tablet sales debut. Should they take this weather as an omen?

The National Weather Service still says 10-14 inches.
However, TV is now saying 12-18 inches.
That might be a subtle difference, but two inches more of snow is a huge difference.
TV is also saying this blizzard will be “historic.”
