It’s becoming very difficult to see where Steven Moffat leaves off and other writers begin.

This episode again points to Moffat’s overriding obsession since his reign began: The importance of memory.

And it’s very difficult to believe that the script as presented was primarily the work of the credited writer. Moffat’s fingerprints are all over it.

Not that that’s a bad thing.

And, of course, it was the memory of Doctor Who’s fans that led to the reboot of the series.

Things are worth remembering.

But remembering can also be a burden. Is that coming too?

Given the number of episodes to this season, it’s a grand puzzle to me how it’s going to end in such a short time.

Ah, but with the Doctor, we know time doesn’t really matter, does it?
