Video Of Pipo Company Founder

Charbax gets to hang out with all the cool people in China and get them on video. In this one, he speaks with the founder of the company whose brand name is now Pipo.

This is a fascinating video, showing the history of products the company was involved in. Many of their early devices I saw in stores here in the U.S. — and now I learn it was Pipo behind it. The company started with just two people — the founder and his wife! — and has grown to the point where they have the capacity to assemble 150,000 tablets each month. What’s also interesting is that the founder is more focused on quality and higher-end products — and aspires to be like Xiaomi, the Chinese company that has attracted worldwide attention.
