Well, this is rather laughable [Google English].
If manufacturers are going to do their own “disassemblies,” will they go all the way and do unboxings too?
Really, Chuwi? A photo and just your word on it? No photo of the markings on the battery itself? Puhleeze. FAIL.
OMA from OMA rocks ROMs says that it has a 15.8 Wh / 3,7 V = 4,27 Ah 4270 its not 5000 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42503146&postcount=50
It’s all over the map. There’s an entire thread about it at IMP3Net:

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s different from the original V88 to the V88s to the “Ice Green” V88. Chuwi needs to fix this. It’s a fundamental problem and also potentially dangerous.
y , I have also read that many of the chuwi crash at 1.6ghz and they need to be at 1.4 to run without problem … that’s why I bought pipo u8 and this one has a 17.2wh battery its running multi-window, antutu is at 18000 at 1.6 without a problem …
The 1.4GHz throttling is due to, as Oma put it, “Chinese quality.” The manufacturers are accepting CPUs from Rockchip that are below spec. Probably getting a discount for it too. Users get screwed that way.
there are no markings on battery at least in V88s AFAIR from mine disassembled, it’s really like on the picture just plain silver battery
There were prior photos that showed markings on the battery. I think at least in the U.S. and EU, batteries have to have markings on them by law, such as lot number, manufacturer, and the electrical specs.
