LG G Pad 8.3: US$299?

Out of China comes word that the LG G Pad 8.3 will be priced at US$299 [Google English].

This has tentative confirmation in a post at Android Authority: LG G Pad 8.3 release date at the end of the month; priced “very competitively:

Sources familiar with the matter told Android Authority that the LG G Pad 8.3 would be priced “very competitively”. While our sources couldn’t confirm the final price, they did say that it could be in the $300 range.

The current iPad Mini begins at US$329. It has just 512MBs of RAM and a 7.85-inch 1024 x 768 screen at ~163 ppi.

The LG G Pad 8.3 has 2GBs of RAM and an 8.3-inch 1920 x 1080 screen at ~273 ppi. And a microSD card slot.

US$299 would be a good price.
