Citing a delay in “quality control validation,” Ramos has announced an official postponement of the sales date for its new Intel-inside i9 tablet [Google English].
This is not a tablet of interest to me.
But this delay is. It’s the second time Ramos has been late. The first was the introduction date of its K-series tablets.
The i9 was supposed to go on sale September 15th. Forum posters have already complained about the non-availability of the tablet.
I have a split reaction to this:
1) Ramos is incompetent and can’t do anything right.
2) Ramos is seriously committed to getting everything right and won’t let any defects escape from the factory-finished products.
We’ll have to see which is true when buyers actually get their hands on both the K and i-series tablets.
Chinese tablet makers have a habit of using women to sell their products.
From catwalk models at product introductions to idiotic photo essays of women simulating using their products, the record is just sad.
I’ve mocked these campaigns on Twitter from time to time.
But now Five Technology, desperate to get some sales for its too-late iFive Mini 3 has created a new low for using women to promote its product.
