Onda V819 Mini 3G Announced

Onda announces its first 3G-enabled tablet [Google English and Google English].

The CPU hasn’t been revealed but given the AnTuTu score they’re pimping …

… it has to be from MediaTek.

What’s remarkable is its battery:

That’s right between the 5,000 mAh battery of the Chuwi V88 and the 5,500 mAh battery of the ICOO Fatty 2.

I’m wondering why no 2Gb RAM tablet has 3G built in…??

I suspect the tablet makers are all trying to hit a low price point and another GB of RAM would make them miss that target. Chinese buyers already complain that the intro price of 899 locally was too high. 2GB tablets have gone as high as 999. Now 1GB tablets are generally 699 — probably due to slow sales.
