Legendary Actress Joan Fontaine Dies at 96
There are people out there who refuse to watch black & white movies. When I was a kid, there were just three TV networks and, in NYC, four local stations. TV was still monochrome and so were many of the movies. We had a cultural continuity between the generations back then that I think we’re missing now. It’s a shame that many reading this won’t know who Joan Fontaine was and have never seen her work.
