For most people, there’s no longer any reason to order one from China.

Archos 79 Platinum
Each feature the Rockchip 3188 CPU and Mali 400 GPU combo with 1GB of RAM and 8GBs of storage. While they have less storage than most Chinese clones, they can basically replace most 3188-based clones from China, such as the Chuwi V88s and ICOO Fatty. Although some Chinese clones feature 2GBs of RAM, for most people that won’t matter.
An Intel Atom Z2560 with 1GB of RAM and 16GBs of storage. This is similar, but not identical, to the Teclast P89 Mini, the first clone with an Intel Atom CPU. It’s unknown if the screen will be 24-bit color (the Teclast has 16-bit).
Archos 79 Xenon
A Mediatek CPU with 1GB of RAM, 8GBs of storage, and a SIM slot for 3G connections. It won’t be a powerhouse like a Rockchip 3188-based tablet but should be good enough for most uses.
The four main CPUs for Chinese iPad Mini clones are covered here: Rockchip 3188, Intel Atom, Mediatek, and Allwinner A31s.
I think anyone who’s been curious about iPad Mini clones running Android can soon buy one with much less risk than ordering from a sketchy middleman seller and dealing with the Russian Roulette anxiety of a package containing a defective unit.
