HP Slate 8 Pro Now Just 249 Euros

That’s according to Engadget in Spain [Google Translate]:

Update: HP has contacted us to alert us of a recent price change yesterday, at the time of publishing this analysis, it was still not effective on its official website. As we reported, the price of the Slate 8 Pro now officially stands at 249 euros, a significant reduction from the 349 euros before[.]

Boldfaced emphasis added by me.

Meanwhile, here in the U.S., the lowest price I’ve found is still B&H for US$310:

If they were to drop the price here to US$249, that might set off a feeding frenzy among those of us who haven’t yet chosen a tablet but understand the Tegra 4 in the Slate 8 Pro breathes fire — despite the 1GB of RAM.
