Today, June 11th, was the date rumored to be the introduction of the Rockchip 3288 CPU. That didn’t happen.
But Five teased its 3288-based iFive Mini 4 via a Weibo communique:
[Praise ah] [praise ah] is inspired by the collision, but also the pursuit of art, all the more remarkable only for the five elements of the new exposure!
As can be seen, Five isn’t giving up trying to force WiFi through an all-metal back. I wish they would!
It should be noted that the iFive Mini 4 will likely continue to lack HDMI-out. But it will have MultiWindow Android 2.0.
Those looking for HDMI-out might want the Colorfly S785 Q1.
There’s also a rumor that Chuwi might get back into iPad Mini clones with a 3288-based one.
In other words, there’s no reason anyone should look at the iFive Mini 4 only.
