Is there news of estimation about release date?

    • mikecane

No. Chatter from Fifth Miracle — Five staff — says there are power conservation issues still being worked out. Potential customers already complaining that it will have too small a battery for the 3288.

I sold my mini 3 because I thought mini 4 would be released soon but it seems it is not so.. Hope it is by the end of June. Thanks!

Five has a history of releasing half-baked firmware and then slowly fixing it. The all-metal back worries me for WiFi use and the battery might be insufficient too. We’ll see what the reviews and users say.

In this situation I think Pipo P8 is a great option. What do you think about it comparing with Mini 4?

      • mikecane

I can’t say. We don’t know what size battery is in the P8.
