Onda V989 Firmware 1.0.1 AnTuTu

From the IMP3Net forum [Google Translate]:

From another IMP3Net thread [Google Translate]:

I hope AnTuTu Labs gets its hands on a V989 and determines what cheatware Allwinner and/or Onda installed and defeats it in AnTuTu X. Until then, we’re going to be on the receiving end of a lot of fraud.

And there’s no reason for all this damn cheating. The latest-gen tablets using Intel, Rockchip, and Allwinner CPUs should all satisfy most needs. Deciding which to buy will come down to individual hardware features and the ability to handle obscure 4K video formats that aren’t at all mainstream. And developers (most of whom aren’t in China and will never touch one of these tablets) need to update their code to fully use multi-core CPUs and the latest GPUs.

He doesn’t say it’s v5 and others have said v5 Alpha isn’t available for the general public to download.

False. It’s not openly available but anyone can send an email and they will get a reply really soon for V5 alpha. That’s how I got it.

Ah! Thanks for that clarification. There’s someone who’s done a ton of benchmarks for it but he didn’t have v5 — and still firmware 1.0. Maybe he will update with v5 and firmware 1.0.1.
