    Its defect

  2. It looks like the Intel Z3735 is going to come out on top in this years SOC war.

    • Hmph. Not if Intel doesn’t help with the Onda V975w problems and stop the heat of the Teclast X89HD Android & Windows versions! I think those are the tablets that matter most for Intel. Every other tablet is More Of The Same.

      • I thought about it and wanted to call the Nvidia K1 the winner but its availability is too limited (only Mi Pad and Nvidia Shield so far). Right now its only the Z3735 that i can say isn’t cheating in Antutu and being consistent with performance.

Differently, my hopes are with the RK3288, especially since the rom-dev Riley on FreakTab has a custom rom for the Pipo P1

      • The K1 is a big If. Does Nvidia intend a follow-up? Xiaomi could have gone with an orphan CPU — and if so, what will MiPad 2 contain?

  3. Nvidia’s roadmap does indicate 2 more chips between now and 2015. The thing holding them back with the Chinese white-box OEMs is probably price

I received my v998 and got an Antutu score of 64k plus. I have no lagging all games play well as do movies and YouTube. I added the Google Now launcher because the stock launcher was as borring as an iPad. I think you may have a defective device my friend.

Well, as of now I cant put faith on any of these Chinese chips, be it all winner, rockchip etc.
I am using v975i and the Intel SOC is fantastic, runs every game perfectly and fabulous performance.
I feel Intel should concentrate on their teclst n onda tabs and update them to the latest KitKat 64 bit.

Well, let me tell you, I got my V989 for a week now and got none of these problems, so I call bullshit.

Same performance than a RK3188? Come on, my previous tablet was a iFive X2, and the V989 is WAY faster, there is no question about that.

I have Version 3 and have had no crashes / hardware issues as of yet….
But XBMC does not work well,. Could be purely a problem with allwinner SOC. I am hating all the negative reviews of late as this means less people will buy and there will be less support. The obvious headline is ONDA need to fire the QC team immediately from destroying the company name.

  8. Cody

thank god i settled with cube talk 9x! at least i dont have to face all these deceptions and hardware upgrades. my tablet isnt the fastest but it does the job with a solid battery backup. and for its price im quite satisfied with it. oh and btw, antutu caught on and after installing the latest edition now i only get around 21- 27k

    • HO HO HO!! AnTuTu got them in the end. Thanks for confirming it as an *owner.* You can’t be accused of having an axe to grind or of playing favorites! Thanks.

When products first are released there will always be issues to rectify, but the tablet now has stable ROMs. i am the happy owner of one. Look at how many reviews there are on the web of people who have bought the v989 and are satisfied.

Are Samsung or Apple products perfect when first released?

Who makes these products also, and what type of labour is used for them?

    I could go on.

Buy this product with confidence people.
