Another Peek At The Pipo P8

The Pipo P8 is another Rockchip 3288-based tablet with a Retina-class screen. Unlike the iFive Mini 4, it offers the possibility of 3G and 4G via a Huawei UltraStick slot.

Charbax of ARM gives us a new glimpse of it in a video:

Unfortunately, this tablet isn’t yet listed at Pipo’s site.

Two important questions are still unanswered:

1) Will it use the faster DDR3 RAM or the slower DDR2 RAM that Five Technology used in the iFive Mini 4? We need Pipo itself to list the full specs.

2) Although a floating video is shown, will it have Rockchip’s MultiWindow Android 2.0? The larger Pipo P1 does.

  1. “Built in video player” – its these things that make me cringe listening to Charbax at time.

Differently, this tablet is rather pleasing to look at. I think it’s the lack of that ugly UI that Teclast has one theirs.

  2. My pipo p4 benchmarks at around 2GB/s for mem speed. Not too great is it?
