I don’t understand how things work in China.
Despite checking Chuwi’s Weibo daily, it’s not Chuwi that announces a new edition of the VX8 3G, but IMP3Net [Google Translate].
The “regular” Chuwi VX8 3G is a “1/16” tablet in white running Android and it can be flashed to Windows 8.1. Until now, I thought the black edition with Windows pre-installed would be the same.
But no.
The new black Business Edition with Windows 8.1 pre-installed swaps out the Intel Z3735G CPU for a Z3735F. It also ups the RAM to 2GBs and internal storage to 32GBs. That’s all fine and makes perfect sense, but the way Chuwi has gone about revealing this is damned confusing. And it’s not even listed on their site, just the white one is.
I’m not running any of the renders. It looks just like all the other renders.

Lest someone think I haven’t been paying attention, no. Here’s ZOL writing about the black edition just yesterday (September 10) [Google Translate]:
So yeah, how they release news for products in China just makes no damned sense. They need to resolve that.
Mike where can we find some firmware to download for these tablets.
I don’t understand your question. But Chuwi official firmware announcements are available at their forum:
