Teclast X80h: Eight-Inch Windows Tablet

With no prior indication from Teclast itself via Weibo — where such announcements should usually be made — eReadCN has a post about a new tablet coming: X80h [Google Translate].

And so Teclast enters a market already occupied by the Pipo W2, iWork 8, Dell, Lenovo, and others — including now Toshiba — with a tablet that has a 1280 x 800 eight-inch IPS screen, 64-bit Intel Bay Trail-T Z3735F CPU at 1.83GHz peak frequency, 2GBs of RAM, and 32GBs of storage. Cameras are unknown as are the price and release date.

How many of these eight-inch Windows tablets can the market support?

  1. The question I want to ask – will all these new Windows tablets be able to run Windows 9?

  2. From what I hear, Windows 9 will be a free update for Windows 8 owners.

Short question: I can’t decide which tablet to buy: Teclast X80h or PIPO W2F both running Windows 8.1. Can you help me out? I would really apreciate it, mate.
