Over at the IMP3Net forum, tablet wonk iambillbil has purchased a Teclast X98 Air 3G and will be posting an evaluation [Google Translate].
In his introduction, he already notes:
The new intelZ3736F chips, relatively old section of the 3735 chip, the Core cpu frequency range up to 1.83G originally from the old section of upgrading to the new 2.15G, the same graphics from the old section of the reference frequency 311mhz, upgrade to 313mhz. Memory bandwidth and capacity have not changed, the capacity is still 2g, bandwidth 10.6g. Based on past experience, tests, 10.6g memory bandwidth limit state for a resolution to deal with the following 2048, when 24-color 8-layer data stream, the bottleneck is about 46fps to 50fps.
(Based on my past personal experience, memory bandwidth 12.8g hardware design when dealing with 24-color 2048 resolution 8-layer data stream bottleneck about 53-57fps; memory bandwidth hardware design 9.6g color processing 24 2048 Resolution of 8 layers when the data flow bottleneck about 36-41fps; 8.5g memory bandwidth hardware design when dealing with 24-color 2048 resolution 8-layer data stream bottleneck about 30-35fps;)
He’s the only person examining tablets who makes note of memory bandwidth. Formal reviewers never bring it up.
