Over at PadNews, a report about a “pity tablet” that I wouldn’t give an enemy as a gift [Google Translate].
The photo alone shows the screen is absolute crap. So are the actual specs: 7-inch screen at 1024 x 600 resolution, Intel quad-core Baytrail-T CR_V2 Z3735G at unknown speed, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage. Ports unknown.
PadNews says:
Although the configuration of this product is not good, but Windows system on the 7-inch display of the experience is not good, but its advantage is that the price cheap enough, and you can run the most common PC applications. Kan said the “poor man’s first Windows computer.”
Boldfaced emphasis added by me.
Hitting a “price point” is a foolish quest. The goal of any product should be to make customers happy. This is shit. And “the poor” deserve better.
