The listing at Tmall provides us with some new images.
No mention of Rockchip’s MultiWindow Android 2.0. But it looks like Vido left Android unmolested so perhaps it’s there in the Settings and they’re not yet promoting it.
It’s interesting that Five Technology and now Vido are releasing RK3288 tablets — and they’re lighter and thinner than the Pipo P1.
Also, although not as thin and light as the iFive Air, the Vido tablet has the edge with its larger battery and the possibility of “naked” Android with multiwindowing. It looks like it lacks HDMI-out but it offers a separate charging port (I know other prefer USB charging…).
Now if only OMA, the Rockchip ROM King, would get his hands on this one…
