Video: Dell Venue 8 7000 Vs. Nexus 9

This is a very weird comparison.

The Dell Venue 8 7000 is that funky thin tablet with the odd RealSense camera and asymmetrical bezels. It has an 8.4-inch 2560 x 1600 OLED screen that’s much like the one in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4. It uses a 64-bit Z3500-series CPU from Intel.

And, if this video is to be believed, it’s faster than the Nexus 9 — at least in the one test captured in this video.

See it after the break.

As if that wasn’t thought-provoking, here’s another video showing the Dell being crazy-ass fast:

And here is a general overview:

I’m not sure if that’s really a microSD card slot. Others say it’s a SIM card slot. Hmph.

Will this ever get in stores? Or will Dell and Intel do another two pop-up stores in NYC where I can test it?

This looks like a real contender despite it not being 4:3. I really like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, but that TouchWiz! And the slowness of Samsung pushing out updates degrades my desire.

That dell tablet does look promising, and I’m kinda dissapointed that there aren’t many videos highlighting how powerful is. Wonder if Dell is also planning on releasing tablets with Intel Core M.
