Onda V919 4G Air Gets A Review

OndaV9194GImp3NR001

Over at IMP3Net [Google Translate].

A 9.7-inch Retina-class screen, 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT8752 CPU at 1.7GHz, 2GBs of RAM, 32GBs of internal storage, 2MP front and 5MP back cameras, GPS, and China-compatible 4G. Android 4.4.4 underneath the OndaROM skin.

This scores near 40,000 with AnTuTu 5.6.1. It’s disconcerting that there are now smartphones with more power!

Farewell For Now, ZTE Zmax

T-Mobile suspends sales of ZTE ZMAX, just 7 months after launch

The Comments there indicate it was a very hot seller for both T-Mobile and Metro PCS stores. People believed it was pulled due to a lawsuit against ZTE by Vringo.

Well, if ZTE is to believed, the reason was this:

T-Mobile Suspends ZTE Zmax Sales Because People Are Idiots

Which I find difficult to believe. In all my reading about the phone, I’ve never read of someone trying to remove the damn battery.

There’s still the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and, the latest lust object — with an octa-core CPU and a full HD screen — the Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3.
