Insignia Flex Elite 7.85: Dan EE & OMA Progress?

A new development at the ARCTablet forum that could be the start of transforming the Insignia Flex Elite 7.85 into something worth getting.

If OMA can improve the firmware and everyone can easily root the tablet and flash it, perhaps battery life can be lengthened.

It’s unlikely we can ever have MultiWindow Android 2.0 on it, though. That was made for Android 4.x and it seems Rockchip has no interest in it for Android 5.x. I’ve not read anything about it being included with Android 5.x for the iFive Air [Google Translate].

However, with a rooted device, it’s likely that the Xposed framework could be used for mutiwindows.

Plus, perhaps the microSD card slot can be modified so that all apps can access it without requiring the current workaround of formatting a card to NTFS.
