ASUS ZenPad S 8.0 Z580CA Intel-Powered Premium Android Tablet Review

What will matter to me — if I can ever find it in a damned store! — is how it handles Google Books PDFs.

I guess I should try the Dell Venue 8 7000/7840 with SmartQ Reader as a proxy, since it has an AnTuTu score in that range. The Dell did not impress with Foxit Mobile PDF — but now I know that software isn’t the fastest.

  1. Is anyone else running into a two named user profile limit. When I attempt to add a third use nothing happens. Tech support the unit only supports 2 users.

If that was true I would have expected to read something about it by now, but I have not seen any reports on this…or maybe my google-fu is not good enough.

    • This is the first I’ve heard of it. I didn’t even know it supported multiple profiles, since I don’t own one. Could it be an Android limit?

Yes, I’ve just bought the thing yesterday and run into the same stupid limit. And the whole reason I bought this? So the whole household (read: more than 2 people) could use a tablet, as opposed to my one-user iPad. I’m seriously contemplating returning it today. And artificial limit on number of users is a very, very bad move, Asus.
