Rubicon: Sekrit Message

I got something in the mail today.

Rubicon: Script Of Episode 1, Pilot

Well, I’m shocked. A reader who goes under the handle of wow casanova found the script to the pilot of Rubicon online!

This is pure Jason Horwitch, his original vision, and it’s very different than what ultimately aired on AMC-TV.

I won’t spoil it. Just go read it and you’ll wonder what Rubicon would have been like if it had followed the path of this script.

I’m posting the PDF of it here for everyone to download and read. Notice how much smaller in size this file is compared to the paper ones I scanned. Apparently this is a PDF version of the original script from Horwitch’s own keyboard!

Today is the third of four posts of a Rubicon script, one post per day until tomorrow.

This is episode 7 and I have two drafts: Blue and Pink. This the Pink draft. The Blue was posted yesterday.

This is the episode that showed some of what API goes through as an entity. The FBI pours in and polygraphs everyone in pursuit of a security leak.

Rubicon: Script Of Episode 4

Oh yes indeedy! I managed to snag three Rubicon scripts and I’m bundling them up into PDFs to share with fellow fans.

Today is the first of four posts of a script, one post per day until Thursday. One of the scripts has a yellow-page and a blue-page draft. All three of the remaining scripts have a large watermark diagonally across each page but can still be read. I will do each as a post.

In this post, I have the script of the fourth episode, The Outsider, and it has that wonderful speech Truxton Spangler delivered in Washington, D.C..

We begin with what looks like a bar code document sticker. It’s not in great shape, having been ripped off a folder, but still:
