I have no idea where these are coming from:
GIT ICAN 7″ Touch Screen Tablet PC – 80002
GIT ICAN 10.1″ Touch Screen Tablet PC – 80001
Click = big
Aside from screen and device size, the specs are identical.
Specs:
1GHz Processor
Wi-Fi/3G (standard)
16GB HD (internal)
Webcam 1.3 Megapixels (built-in)
1 standard USB port
1 mini USB port
1 SD port (up to 64GB)
Built-in speakers
Headphone port
DC power adapter
Software includes (limited versions): Office, Skype, Email, Gmail, Print Share (print on demand)
No mention of an accelerometer, screen resolution, or if the screen is capacitive.
Also, no sign I can see in the render of Android Marketplace or an eBook app — such as Aldiko — being bundled. Although media might generally fall under that icon with the suspicious Samsung trademark-infringing Galaxy name. There is a YouTube app shown, however.
I don’t see how these can compete against the Archos 70 and 101 tablets, which are both less expensive, have extensive media software, and also come with Aldiko for eBooks.
99% sure they come from China :)
That’s a given. But Google comes up empty for that name from anyone other than J&R.
