This is the second time I’ve seen this said. Now I’m believing it too.
Which is weird. Because why America so soon? It doesn’t fit in with Xiaomi’s previous assertions that the American market is too tough to jump into immediately.
This makes me wonder if they’ve teamed up with a carrier. And if that carrier is T-Mobile — and perhaps some other pre-pay carriers, such as Cricket.
I mention T-Mobile specifically due to its WiFi calling feature. That’s something Xiaomi is somewhat incorporating into phones in China right now.
