So I went to Barnes & Noble in the hope of seeing the still-as-yet-unannounced (as of early afternoon yesterday) Nook Touch with Glowlight:

After a side trip to Wall Street documented in this post, I arrived at J&R. Which rearranged its tablet display. Tablets now take up a large area once used by cellphones! There’s like twenty feet of frikkin tablet display space! They’re selling just about every craptab imaginable!

And here I am, finally, with the new Coby 9.7″ Android 4.0 tablet:

I saw on their website that J&R finally got in that new Coby 9.7″ Android 4.0 tablet and I wanted to see it. So I put aside several hours yesterday to do a big Tech Fondle Safari to answer some questions I had about several devices.

I wanted to get this post up yesterday, but it was just too big to get done before sleep time. So here it is, the next day. And now in several parts, so readers can jump to sections of particular interest and not drown in boredom all at once.
