Vido Shows Seven-Inch Windows 8.1 Tablet
PadNews ran a photo from the Fall Hong Kong Electronics Fair [Google Translate].
Seven inches at 1280 x 800, Intel Z3735G CPU, 1GB RAM, 16GBs internal storage, 2MP front and 5MP back cameras, 3,800mAh battery.
It seems nearly identical to the CUBE iWork7. Price unknown. Another US$65 tablet? With eight-inches at US$65, maybe less?

China Sprouts More 8.9-Inch Tablets
Chuwi has press material published at IMP3Net [Google Translate], PadHz [Google Translate], and PadNews [Google Translate].
The Teclast P90HD is no longer alone in this market. Unlike the 8.9-inch Nexus 9, none of these are 4:3; all have 1920 x 1200 resolution. [Correction: The Teclast P90HD is alone with 2560 x 1600 resolution — which was rumored for the Nexus 9.] [Update: Lane, in Comments, reminded me that the Pipo P4 — which I’ve mentioned here just once — is also 8.9-inches at 1920 x 1200.]

Second health care worker tests positive for Ebola in Texas
Frieden expressed regret for not having responded to the threat of Ebola more aggressively sooner, saying that with the benefit of hindsight, CDC should have initially dispatched “a more robust hospital infection team” to Dallas.
The CDC has acted like the Keystone Kops of medicine.
If a third person is infected on American soil, Frieden must resign, period.
