Onda V989 Firmware 2.0.2 Released
Onda announces it on Weibo a day after everyone else reported it:
There are four hardware versions of the Onda V989. Check the back of the tablet to see “V1,” “V2,” etc., to get the version number. Only use the firmware that applies to the specific hardware version number.
The firmware can be gotten from Onda’s V989 page (third tab, right below the orange Buy button) or from the Onda forum [Google Translate].
By the way, I don’t note all firmware releases for all tablets. I figure that’s up to the owners to keep track of — especially when OTA updates are available.

Chuwi’s New Windows Tablet Is Large
Despite teasing it on Weibo, it’s not Chuwi who reveals the details of their new tablet. It’s IMP3Net [Google Translate]:
A 10.1-inch IPS screen at 1920 × 1200 resolution is all that’s known right now. IMP3Net has more images.
This is not a tablet that interests me and I won’t be doing other posts about it.
